Cut from 100% organic cotton and hand printed using only azo-free dyes, Miller is a full length dress with a tiered skirt, elasticised waistband and a flattering scoop neckline. Gathers and shirring decorate the neckline while functional buttons add versatility to styling. Miller features decorative picot stitching along the sleeves and hem.

Care

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Hand Screen Printing

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

Textile — Brookside Rose

A timeless palette of soft crystal blues and cool greens fill our Brookside Rose print, painted against a creamy ivory base. Complementary shades of blue colour the garden roses, while accents of soft fern greens fill the stems and leaves. Each shade adds depth and contrast to the motifs. Together, they paint a picture of quiet harmony. Brookside Rose is hand screen printed, each of these carefully mixed colours are printed in sequence, starting with the blues.
