Made with 100% organic cotton, Marjorie is a full length dress with an elasticised bodice and neckline, and a soft flowing skirt. It is designed to be a romantic yet casual and comfortable silhouette to be worn anywhere. Marjorie has flutter sleeves with fine picot trimming that sits prettily on your shoulders. The skirt has a short ruffle trimmed hem, reminiscent of vintage style dresses.

Care

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Hand Screen Printing

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

Textile — Honeywick

Muted yellows and soft tangerine tones colour the gentle floral motifs in Honeywick. The palette is designed with warmth and ease. Both the floral and leaf motifs are carefully outlined with a woody dark brown, adding both depth and contrast to the pattern. Dusty fern green shades the leaves, bringing the entire palette to a natural harmony. Honeywick is printed on an ivory base, with four different stencils; printers start with the tangerine tones before filling the rest of the print.
