The neckline is framed with a gentle picot scallop trim, while the skirt features cotton lace inset panels, both lending a soft, vintage touch to the silhouette. Pintucks decorate the bust for shape and texture, and the fully shirred back offers fit versatility.

Care

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Hand Screen Printing

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

Textile — Camden Laurel

A tapestry of garden flowers and botanical motifs painted on an earthy shade of moss green. Camden Laurel carries a muted vintage green with warm ecru floral motifs, bringing gentle contrast and soft harmony to the deeper hue. Using discharge printing, each petal, berry, leaf and stem is carefully hand screen printed, coloured and processed so that the final canvas is dried perfectly with all its details present. Camden remains one of our most intricate prints, its fine details a testament to the skill of our printers.
