Cut from 100% organic cotton and hand printed using only azo-free dyes, Clementine is a full length button down dress, with a square neckline that can be worn two ways. Buttoned fully to create a classic square neckline or unbuttoned and folded in to create a pretty V neckline. Delicate pintuck detailing runs down the front and back of the bodice and a full gathered skirt completes the romantic mood. Gentle puff sleeves with elasticised ends lend versatility to how you would like your sleeves to look.

Size:

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

Gentle green colours the leaves, and the pattern is finished with a honey hued outline. Each colour complements the next, working in harmony to paint a cheerful field of summer flowers.
