Size:

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with a little water for easy ironing.

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

A medley of sunny mayflowers, coloured in alternating shades of pink, sage and yellow. Soft browns fill the center of each flower and stem, adding both depth and harmony to the print. The soothing colour palette creates an uplifting mood and we love the Mayflower print for the way it makes us feel. Mayflower is hand screen printed, each of the five colours are printed in sequence, starting with the pinks.
