Freya is a button down dress made in 100% organic cotton. It has a square neckline with romantic flutter sleeves that frames your neck beautifully. Freya is designed to be a slim fitting silhouette with a loose flowing full skirt, the single tiered hem adds volume while creating a feminine shape. A matching waist sash to the dress cinches in your waist, we have also sewn a little loop on the back of the neck so you can always hang your sash back after use. Freya is versatile, you can wear it with a square neckline or unbuttoned to create a V-neckline. Both ways look just as lovely!

Size:

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

A tapestry of garden flowers and botanical motifs painted on the softest shade of ecru. Using discharge printing, each petal, berry, leaf and stem is carefully hand screen printed, coloured and processed so that the final canvas is dried perfectly with all its details present. One of our most challenging print to date because of the fine details in the print. Hand printed on 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.
