Soft shirring adds comfort to the fitted bodice while an A-line skirt provides volume and contrast. Subtle puff sleeves with elastic cuffs lend versatility, allowing you to wear the sleeves down for a modern feel or up to create a more dramatic puff look.

Care

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Block Printing

Pressed by hand using intricately carved wooden blocks, the prints rendered on the pieces are made with care and dedication. Each motif is carved carefully on teak wooden blocks, dipped into dyes before being pressed onto the fabric. This step is repeated slowly — motif by motif, colour by colour until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the block printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand block printing and the nature of a handmade process.

A trailing pattern of intricate meadow flowers printed on a navy base. Each flower is meticulously carved, from the delicate center to the dainty petals of the motif. Complete with trailing foliage in a repeating pattern. Hand printed on 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.
