Cut from 100% organic cotton and hand printed using only azo-free dyes, Annie is a full length dress with a tiered skirt, smocked bodice and a flattering scoop neckline. Cotton crochet lace with lace up detailing on the front adds romantic charm while angel sleeves frame your shoulders elegantly.

Care

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Hand Screen Printing

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

Textile — Edelweiss Creme

Dainty floral and botanical motifs coloured in a soft shade of dusty french blue against an off white canvas. The ‘Edelweiss’ print is made special with subtle shading on the floral motifs, adding dimension and depth to the berries, stalk, and petals that fill the canvas. Edelweiss Bleu is printed using the discharge printing technique. Printers do not get to see the floral motifs until it’s been steamed and processed, making it harder to line each stencil to the next.
