Textile — Dobby

Dobby is a woven textile characterised by small, geometric designs or patterns created with the use of a Dobby Loom. The patterns on Dobby fabrics are made using a series of small, raised elements called ‘Dobby Picks’, which are interwoven with the warp threads to create the desired design. Here we have a subtle geometric pattern created by the Dobby Loom, adding a barely there textural feel to our pieces.
