In 100% organic cotton, Sienna is designed to be a staple and timeless piece you’ll reach for over and over again. The flattering square neckline is framed by ruffled sleeves and soft shirring adds comfort to the fitted bodice. A full tiered skirt with petite ruffles lends romantic charm to the silhouette. Sienna is lined with soft cotton voile for comfort and is complete with pockets on both sides.

Size:

Machine wash cold. Wash with like colours. Turn inside out when washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse using low heat setting to smooth out any creases. Mist any creases with some water for easy ironing.

Darker colours, such as red, navy, and black, may release excess dye in the first few washes. This is completely normal. Please wash with care and avoid soaking. You may wish to use colour catcher sheets when laundering. Each piece has been carefully treated for colour fastness to help preserve both colour and print.

Stencils are used in screen printing, where the stencilled artwork is placed into a wooden frame and dyes are passed through the stencil and onto the fabric — a process that is completely done by hand. Each frame prints a section of the fabric and one colour is painted each time, this is done repeatedly until the pattern is completed. The pigment saturates the cloth to give a unique depth of colour which is controlled by the printer’s hands. We also rely on natural dyeing and drying methods when producing our fabrics.

Subtle variances in depth and irregularities in print and colour are natural characteristics of hand screen printing and the nature of a handmade process.

Floral motifs, trailing vines and leaves complete a picture of vintage romantic charm. Shades of primrose blue and lavender carefully mixed to give the florals a soft delicate feel, while earthy olive green colours the vines on a cream beige base. Hand printed on 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Each colour and motif is hand printed in sequence.
